About the Role

Looking for passionate, skilled tradesmen who are experienced in whole house remodeling. Work alongside a diverse, community-focused team producing first-time homeownership opportunities. Join the daily work of learning how to renovate older existing homes top to bottom, inside and out.


— Starting pay: $20/hr - $25/hr or $41,600/yr - $52,000/yr

++ Bonus for bilingual Spanish

++ Bonus for plumbing or electric proven knowledge — Big-Tree Medical Subscription. Unlimited Primary Health Care. Discounted Prescriptions. — On-the-job Training. Full Home Renovation & Business Development skills exposure. — Room for advancement.

Job Overview & Expectations

— Needs to have diverse renovation experience. It’s ok to be a jack of all trades and master of none for this possession.


— Experience in Framing, Finish Work, Exterior Residential Home Trades needed. Bonus hourly wage if you have tested skills in Electric and/or Plumbing trades.


— Need to be very comfortable and good with a tape measure’s and power tools.


— Need the ability and desire to learn and grow the trade skills; must be willing to be taught and eager to do so.


— Need reliable transportation and valid drivers license

— Faithful. A person of your word.


— Integrity. A person of your word with the ability to speak and follow through on your commitments, with or without people looking over your shoulder.


— Teachable. A person who never says “I know it all”, “my way is always right”, “I’m an old dog who can’t learn new tricks”. Rather, you’re always open to learn more effective ways and you believe others add value to you from their experience.

Arise Dwellings of Mid-Missouri, Inc. is seeking a dedicated, full-time Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our non-profit real estate development team. Our team renovates existing homes for first-time home buyers with built-in equity from day 1 for the glory of God. We are a Christian organization motivated by our faith to meet some of the most pressing housing & social needs in Columbia. We are committed to establishing future homeowners, stabilizing existing neighbors in need, and developing new housing initiatives.

Arise Dwellings of Mid-Missouri, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Christian faith-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to renovate homes for first-time homebuyers with built-in equity from day one for the glory of God. With affordable housing needs at an all-time high, we are seeking to build a scalable non-profit real estate development firm with collaboration & equity at its core.
